While photography is my strongest love, music has been my longest. Music has always been a constant in my life. Wether listening to it or playing it, it's the only thing other than photography that I can really loose myself within. There are so many opportunities for great photos when people are playing instruments. It seems that very often while musicians are performing they get lost in the music or are placed back in time to the moment they wrote the song. These are the moments that I think create some of the most beautiful photographs, with depth to them. Because of the unusual lighting conditions in which concerts are usually held, this can quite often be very difficult. I really enjoy this aspect of music photography. It constantly pushes me to do things differently and overcome obstacles on the technical side of taking photos.
